Join us in the studio for a tender evening of stitching and conversation, adorning moleskin journals with personalized cross stitch patterns. <3
Choose from an endless supply of patterns such as monograms, flowers, fruits, etc or draft your own. Check out this Pinterest board to see what's possible!
All levels welcome, (no cross stitch experience necessary!) we'll go over the basics of cross stitch, supply you with everything needed, have a brief inspo session before bumping the tunes and leave you to follow your creative whims!
All materials included. Bring your own journal (soft cover or paper bound only), or opt for us to provide your color choice of Moleskin soft cover journal as your canvas.
The truly perfect way to spend a sweet summer evening creating alongside other crafty humans.

What can I expect from a project at RecCreate?
Projects are the perfect chance to finally make that thing you saved on tiktok or pinned months ago, where all you have to do is show up! We curate the coolest materials and walk you through it step by step. Naturally, you leave with the sickest me-made piece for yourself or as the sweetest gift. Projects are a great opportunity to try out a new craft without having to invest in all of the materials, alongside other creative humans. These are not highly technical workshops— our emphasis is on craft, self expression and creative empowerment.
As with all RecCreate events, you can expect to go on this journey with a room full of lovely strangers. We’ll offer opportunities for connection throughout our time— encouraging the spirit of the collective. It is (so) much more fun to get to create together.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!

Though we do our best to keep all photography / video to a minimum, please note all guests who attend consent to being photographed and videoed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes at the discretion of RecCreate Collective.
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
