Patch Showcase 2024

​Patch is a summer accelerator programme for talented 16-21 year olds. We find the best young builders, inventors and organisers in Ireland, support them in forming teams and building together over the course of seven weeks, and see what they come out with at the end.

​The programme culminates in 'Patch Showcase', where each team shares their project and lessons learned along the way. This year, we’ll have 11 teams demoing everything from robot dogs to an online platform for funeral arrangements:

• ​Gymificient: actionable analytics for gyms

• ​Vexra: streamlined onboarding for wealth managers

• ​Debrisweeper: an autonomous boat for waterway cleanup

• ​Funeralbooking.ie: an online booking platform for funerals

• ​Log Watch: theft prevention system for forestry

• ​ForceField: an impact detection device for hurling

• ​Cartshare: order sharing for online shoppers

• ​RoboPatch: an interactive mascot for Dogpatch Labs

• ​Sceach: biodiversity monitoring for local authorities

• ​Pocket Caddy: an AI-assisted golf caddy app
