Inner Resilience: International Yoga Day - Yoga Class
On 21st of June, in celebration of the Summer Solstice, International Yoga Day (21st of June) and World Rainforest Day (22nd of June), the Belgian Pact Community comes together for "Inner Resilience" yoga class in collaboration with Brussels based yoga teacher - Val.
In the EU Climate Pact Belgium, we believe that we cannot sustain outer action without inner resilience. In the grounding presence of ancient trees, we find a restorative space to remind ourselves what we are fighting to protect.
International Yoga Day is celebrated annually on June 21. Established by the United Nations in 2014 and first observed in 2015, the date was chosen to coincide with the summer solstice, symbolizing the physical and spiritual union of mind and body. This year, we want to honor this union by extending it to the natural world, nurturing the inner peace and resilience needed to sustain our ongoing climate action.
