Stablecoin Payments in Japan: From Pilot to Practice

Stablecoin Payments in Japan: From Pilot to Practice

Stablecoins are increasingly being discussed as a new payment rail, but what does adoption actually look like at the merchant level?

Join Morph and Netstars for an evening focused on the practical realities of bringing stablecoin payments into Japanese retail.

Morph will share lessons from its recent collaboration with Netstars, including what it takes to support stablecoin payments within an existing merchant environment, where the operational challenges lie, and what needs to happen for more retailers to move from experimentation to deployment.

The session will also explore how stablecoin payment infrastructure can connect retailers, payment operators and wallet providers without requiring merchants to rebuild their existing payment experience from scratch.

This event is particularly relevant for treasury, finance and payments decision-makers at Japanese retail brands; payment operators exploring stablecoin acceptance through Netstars’ StarPay infrastructure; and wallet operators interested in enabling real-world merchant payments.

If your organisation is considering a stablecoin payments pilot in Japan, this is an opportunity to hear directly from the teams involved in one and discuss what a similar implementation could look like.
