Dev Days - Victoria - #2

🔁 Dev Days — Victoria (Round 3) by GitHub and Microsoft

Victoria showed up — so we’re coming back.

After the energy, turnout, and “when’s the next one?” from our first events hitting our DMs, Dev Days is returning to Victoria for a third edition, driven entirely by community demand.

Once again, we’re bringing together builders, maintainers, and developers across Victoria's tech ecosystem for an evening focused on real GitHub‑powered workflows, modern AI‑assisted development, and hands‑on demos.

Whether you’re using VS Code, JetBrains, Cursor, Claude Code, or anything else in your stack, this meetup is GitHub‑centric but fully tool‑agnostic. Come as you are. Code how you like.

What to Expect

• Practical, real‑world GitHub + Copilot workflows

• High‑signal lightning talks and live demos

• Honest conversations about AI‑assisted development, CI/CD, and agentic workflows

• A friendly, social space to connect with the local dev community

🎤 Speakers

• Ve Sharma — Solution Engineer @ Microsoft - Host & Where are we now in the Agentic SDLC

• Jeremy Mosely - Staff Engineer @GitHub - "How to be a product focused engineer, and why it matters now more than ever"

• Logan Porelle Field CTO @GitHub- "Teaching Non-devs Git"

• David Leagan - Director of Software/AI @Miraterra Technologies Corporation - "Concurrent workflows for multiple agents"
