Soft Hands Knit Club: Cord Wrapping
Join Ella Emhoff + friends in the RecCreate Collective studio for a tender evening of ‘cord wrapping’ and conversation<3
Expect a nostalgic evening using a variety yarn and embroidery floss to accessorize your tech tools. We'll explore different cord wrapping styles inspired by the friendship bracelets of our youth before leaving you to follow your creative whims and upcycle your most used cords.
Bring your own cords (think headphones, chargers, etc) in need of decorating, but all other materials are included <3
p.s. the wrapping will also keep your cords protected from the wear and tear of daily life!
If you’re anything like us and want to live a life filled to the brim with creativity— we have space for you at our long, communal (naturally, handmade in brooklyn:) art/craft table.
What can I expect from a club at RecCreate?
We design all of our clubs at RecCreate to feel like going over to a friends apartment for a craft hang where they took care of grabbing all the materials and show you the basics before the music starts bumping! Our emphasis is on process, play and community building, with conversation prompts throughout.
Getting Here
The venue is a ~hidden~ art studio located at 20 Grand ave in brooklyn on the 6th floor of a commercial building! When you arrive, buzz #604, push to open and take the elevator up to 6 (push the elevator button until it turns red.!!) Take a right out of the elevator, and a left at the end of the hallway. The door will be the first one on your right.
Cancelation Policy
Unfortunately for this event tickets are non-refundable/exchange-able! Please double check your calendar. In the event you are no longer able to make it, you are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or swap it on our ticket swap board. Just tell them to use your name!

Age Restriction & Dogs
All guests must be 18+ to attend and though we love your pups, unfortunately cannot have them in the studio!
