After years of conversations, research, visioning, late nights, setbacks, pivots, breakthroughs, and dedication and determination that we MUST do better and leave the legacy that we are proud of.

We wanted a chance to bring together the wonderful mix of people who have helped shape the journey so far; friends, family, collaborators, mentors, partners and supporters, alongside new faces, new connections and those who are just discovering what we’re building. A chance to raise a glass together to what comes next…

About Howami
Our mission is to create a new generation of digital tools that help young people understand their bodies, emotions, and menstrual cycles with confidence, compassion, and curiosity. By combining lived experience, creativity, and tech for good, we're building a future where whole cycle menstrual well-being is understood as an essential part of emotional health, not something hidden or endured.
After realising that traditional funding routes couldn't move at the pace the mission demanded, the Bristol volunteer team at Howami chose to invite the public to become the funders, the storytellers and the community instead. And so the Million Moons initiative was thoughtfully designed.
Million Moons is our global storytelling and inclusive, gift-inspired fundraising campaign, inviting one million people to share a moment, memory, or lived experience of menstruation. Together, we're creating a powerful cultural archive in 2026 that breaks stigma, amplifies unheard voices, and helps fund the next generation of accessible menstrual well-being tools for young people everywhere.
It's about bloody time!!!
