As the longest night of the year approaches, we gather in warmth and ceremony to honour the turning of the wheel — the still point between darkness and light.
This is a sacred pause, a moment to exhale the year behind us and to listen for the quiet hum of renewal beneath the surface of winter.
Join us for a special Winter Solstice Edition of Rhythms of Renewal — an evening of cacao, movement, music, and rest; a sensorial journey that awakens the pulse of aliveness within. Through rhythm, breath, and sound, we will release what no longer serves and call in what wants to be born with the returning light.

✨ Your Guides for the Evening
Masha Andreeva (DJ Shamashka) will weave a carefully curated ecstatic dance journey — an eclectic blend of world, tribal, and soul-infused beats designed to move body and spirit into resonance.
Imi Oto will amplify the atmosphere with her live flute accompaniment, weaving shimmering melodies that carry the dance and the sound bath into ethereal realms.
Zack Harris will open the night with a heart-centred song circle during the cacao ceremony and enliven the dancefloor with grounding, pulsating drum rhythms.
Mel will prepare and serve us a very special Cacao, freshly arriving from Peru.
Stacey Burgess will be offering her award-winning LiveOn chocolate creations for purchase before and during the event.
The soundbath will be facilitated by Masha, Imi and Stacey.
Expect candlelight and sacred soundscapes, deep listening and embodied expression — a shared ritual of renewal for the body, heart, and spirit.

About the artists:
Masha Andreeva
Masha Andreeva is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Art Therapist, and community gatherer who weaves together the healing powers of creativity, mindfulness, sound, and nature. With a background in yoga, shamanic studies, and expressive arts, Masha creates spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, one another, and the more-than-human world. She is the founder of Anahata Festival, a grassroots celebration of music, movement, and heart-centered living, and regularly facilitates workshops and sound journeys across Ontario. Rooted in a belief that healing is both personal and collective, Masha invites participants to explore renewal through presence, creativity, and community.
Imi Oto
Imi is a globe-trotting musician whose journey began with piano at age three and flute at nine. A graduate of the Northern Rivers Conservatorium in Australia, she has performed, recorded, and taught across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and Canada. Her sound blends Jazz, Latin, Reggae/Dub, Balkan and European folk, Classical, R&B, and world music. Known for her warm, enchanting flute tones, Imi brings a unique and expressive spark to every stage and collaboration.
