He founded One Tree at a Time in the French Alps, a community space where people repair, share and make things from what already exists. From that came Re-Action, a collective of sixty-plus organisations across the UK and beyond doing similar work in their own places.
The work is about clothing and gear on the surface. Underneath it's about what happens when people stop waiting for permission and start building something together.
He'll also be talking about the growing global phenomenon of Citizen Friday, a weekly ritual that invites us to share, repair and get out in the fresh air.
