신사하우스에서 열리는 〈Gaudí: Back to the Origins〉는 가우디의 삶과 작업을 들여다보고, 잠시나마 스스로 가우디가 되어볼 수 있는 인터랙티브하고 몰입감 있는 전시입니다.
하지만 전시가 보여줄 수 있는 것에는 한계가 있습니다. 저희는 누구나 그가 생각했던 방식으로 더 깊이 들어가 보고, 그가 우리에게 주는 영감을 따라가 볼 기회를 가져야 한다고 믿습니다.
이 무료 소개 세션은 저희 창립자 소피 아브람추크(Sofy Abramchuk)가 드리는 선물입니다. 8년 동안 가우디의 작업을 연구하며 그가 왜 그렇게 했는지 분석하고 그의 머릿속으로 들어가 본 시간이 바탕이 되었습니다. 그는 전 세계의 콘퍼런스와 대학, 기업에서 가우디 철학의 고유함을 전해왔습니다.
이 30분 동안 그 연구의 일부와, 가장 많은 사랑을 받은 강연과 렉처의 핵심 대목들을 보여드립니다. 그래서 그의 아이디어가 실제로 어디에서 왔는지, 그가 어떻게 일했는지, 그리고 주변의 누구도 알지 못했던 것을 그는 무엇을 이해하고 있었는지 조금씩 알아가실 수 있습니다.
그의 독창성이 어디에서 비롯되었는지 보이기 시작하면, 왜 그와 같은 방식으로 창작하는 법을 배울 만한 가치가 있는지도 함께 보이기 시작합니다.

Gaudí's Workshop: Beyond the Origins 소개
전시를 찾은 분들은 가우디가 무엇을 만들었는지 봅니다. 이곳에서는 그가 만들던 방식대로 창작하는 법을 배웁니다.
이 프로그램은 Origin8 방법론을 바탕으로 합니다. 바르셀로나 가우디 재단에서 8년에 걸쳐 개발된 이 방법론은 "독창성은 근원으로 돌아가는 데 있다"는 가우디 자신의 원칙 위에 세워졌으며, 다섯 개 대륙의 기업과 대학, 재단에서 진행되어 왔습니다.
8월 한 달 동안 갤러리는 하나의 작업실이 됩니다. 이번과 같은 무료 소개 세션, 가우디를 네 번의 귀환으로 읽어내는 렉처 시리즈, 테이블에 둘러앉아 직접 해보는 마스터클래스, 하나의 오브제를 손으로 디자인하고 인쇄해 가져가는 워크숍, 어린이 세션, 큐레이터가 직접 안내하는 폐관 후 전시 투어, 그리고 휴대폰 없이 보내는 마지막 살롱이 열립니다. 각 세션은 그 자체로 완결되며, 동시에 다음 세션으로 가는 문이 됩니다.
누구를 위한 프로그램일까요? 디자이너, 창업가, 마케터, 학생, 부모님까지. 무언가를 만들고, 그것이 남의 것을 따라가는 대신 자기만의 것이 되기를 바라는 모든 분을 위한 자리입니다. 디자인 경험은 필요하지 않습니다.

Sofy 소개
소피 아브람추크(Sofy Abramchuk)는 〈Gaudí: Back to the Origins〉의 큐레이터이자 Originate Institute의 창립자입니다. 바르셀로나 가우디 재단에서 8년간 디자인 총괄로 일하며 Origin8 방법론을 개발했습니다. 이는 "독창성은 근원으로 돌아가는 데 있다"는 가우디 자신의 원칙에 뿌리를 둔 창작 방식입니다. 다섯 개 대륙의 기업과 대학에서 이 방법론을 가르쳐 왔으며, 사가르다 파밀리아 탑 완공 당시 BBC News에 출연했습니다.

What if you could understand not only what Gaudí built, but why he built it that way?
Gaudí: Back to the Origins at Sinsa House is an interactive and immersive experience that lets you get a glimpse into Gaudí's life and work, and try to be Gaudí yourself for a short amount of time. But an exhibition can only show you so much, and we believe that everyone should have the chance to dive deeper into the way he thought, and to follow the inspiration he gives us.
These free introductory sessions are a gift from our founder, Sofy Abramchuk, based on her 8 years studying Gaudí's work, analysing why he did what he did and getting inside his head. She has spoken at conferences, universities and companies around the world, teaching them the uniqueness of Gaudí's philosophy.
In these 30 minutes she will show you a glimpse of those studies and some of the best extracts from her most popular talks and lectures, so that you can begin to understand where his ideas actually came from, how he worked, and what he understood that nobody around him did.
And once you see where his originality came from, you also start to see why it is worth learning to create the same way.
Because that is what we are building here in Seoul. Gaudí's Workshop is a learning space next to COEX where Gaudí's way of creating becomes something you can practise yourself, through workshops, masterclasses and tours, and this session is the door into all of it. We will show you what is coming this August, and you can decide what is for you.

About Gaudí's Workshop: Beyond the Origins
Visitors to the exhibition see what Gaudí made. Here you learn to create the way he did. The program runs on the Origin8 method, developed over 8 years at the Gaudí Foundation in Barcelona, built on Gaudí's own principle: originality consists in returning to the origin. It has been delivered across five continents with companies, universities and foundations.
Through August the gallery becomes a working studio. There will be free introductions like this one, a lecture series reading Gaudí in four returns, hands-on masterclasses at the tables, full workshops where you design one object by hand and take it home printed, sessions for children, after-hours tours of the exhibition guided by its curator, and one closing salon without phones. Every session is complete on its own and opens the door to the next.
Who is it for? Designers, founders, marketers, students, parents, anyone who makes things and wants them to be original rather than derivative. No design experience needed. All dates and registration on this calendar.

About Sofy
Sofy Abramchuk is the curator of Gaudí: Back to the Origins and the founder of Originate Institute. She spent 8 years as head of design at the Gaudí Foundation in Barcelona, where she developed the Origin8 method, a way of creating rooted in Gaudí's own principle that originality consists in returning to the origin. She has taught it to companies and universities on five continents, and appeared on BBC News on the completion of the Sagrada Família tower.
