Tropical Forests Forever: Fast-Tracking Country Access to TFFF Finance

​Join representatives from tropical forest countries, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and other partners for a conversation on emerging efforts to support early implementation of the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF) through a Fast Track Program supporting tropical forest country governments, Indigenous Peoples and local communities to access TFFF funding.

​The session will explore how governments, Indigenous Peoples, local communities and supporting institutions can work together to advance readiness, strengthen governance arrangements and design inclusive pathways for direct financing. The session will also feature leaders from countries making strides to meet the TFFF eligibility criteria and explore how early, large-scale results-based payments can accelerate tropical forest conservation. Speakers will discuss the program's approach, the pathway to scaling impact, and the central role of Indigenous Peoples and local communities in designing and implementing direct finance, accountability, and governance arrangements.
