About Event

Come curious. Leave clearer. Grab a spot — then bring one small idea you can't stop thinking about.

An intimate salon evening for 10-15 creators, founders, and curious minds seeking depth — not networking. Bring an idea, insight, or question you care about. We'll share lightning thoughts, explore compelling threads together, and leave with fresh perspectives and meaningful connections.

Come help build a human space for real connection, community, and idea exchange in the most diverse city in the world. Join us in creating a culture that values connection and learning over staleness and conformity, and celebrates passion and ideas rather than hustle.

Who this is for

  • People who create: writers, makers, artists, crafters, and anyone bringing ideas to life

  • People who ship: founders, engineers, designers, researchers, independents

  • People who support: operators, PMs, editors, investors, community builders, backers, cheerleaders

  • People who want depth: curious, rigorous, kind; allergic to performative small talk

Why come

  • Real conversation with people who care about the work and the why

  • Diverse perspectives from NYC's creative landscape that expand your thinking

  • Space to learn and exchange ideas in an environment focused on growth, not performance

What to bring

  • An idea, insight, or question you care about to share with the group

  • Be ready to explain what it is, why it matters to you, and how it connects to your life and work.

Format (60–90 min)

  1. Welcome and intention

  2. Lightning shares — 3 minutes each, as many as fit the room

  3. One or two deep dives — a maker goes deeper + Q&A

  4. Asks and offers — concrete help you need or can give

  5. Close — one word you’re leaving with;

Community Guidelines

  • Learning Together: We're here to expand our thinking through shared exploration. Ask questions, offer insights, and embrace being wrong sometimes—it's how we grow.

  • Share Authentically: Bring your real questions and insights, not pitches. We welcome specific asks for help, but this is a space for exchange, not selling.

  • Ground Your Contributions: Whether it's personal experience, research, or simply an interesting observation—share what informs your thinking. And remember, "I don't know yet" is valuable honesty.

  • Honor Our Circle: Keep shares to 3 minutes so everyone has space to contribute to our collective learning.

  • Respect Privacy: Please ask for permission before taking photos, and for discussions—you're welcome to share ideas, but not attribute them to specific people.

Vibe

Warm, human, participatory. Not a stage — a circle. Expect curiosity, craft, and generosity.

Seating

We’ll sit in a circle, picnic‑style on cushions or blankets. A few stools will be available for those who prefer.

Tickets

  • Pilot circle: free with RSVP

  • Very limited seats; please release your spot if plans change

FAQ

  • Is this networking? No. It’s a small, hosted circle for honest idea exchange.

  • Do I have to share? You’ll be invited to, but you can pass once. Listening is contribution.

  • Can I bring a friend? Seats are limited — please register them separately if tickets remain.

  • Will there be food or drink? Venue will have decaf drinks available for purchase. The San Genaro festival is right next door. Feel free to continue the night with each other and grab some food afterwards.
