Budget Proposal Review workshop (Core) - Western Hemisphere
Agenda:
This workshop will begin reviewing proposals submitted to the 2025 budget process in the Core categories. The workshop will cover some baseline information about the core category and host breakout discussions to review and discuss proposals. Committee members, subject matter experts and those who submitted proposals are invited to participate and offer insights to DReps.
Proposals to review:
2025 Input Output Engineering Core Development Proposal
Cardano Stable Index (CSI): A Diversified, On-Chain Basket of Native Stablecoins
Cexplorer.io - Developer-Focused Blockchain Explorer for Cardano
TWEAG's proposals for multiple core budget projects
Blockfrost Platform community budget proposal
Indigenous DAO Toolkit
The first two proposals in this workshop will have 15 mintues to pitch given the complexity. Following that, each vendor will have 5 minutes to pitch their proposal, followed by 5 minutes for Q&A. This ensures we stay on track and are able to get through all of the proposals.
At this session, we’ll be prioritizing proposals within the Core category.
Proposals that don’t fall within this category, may present if time permits, after all pitches for Core category have been completed.
This workshop is designed to facilitate meaningful discussion with up to 100 DReps and no limit to committee members or vendors who will be observers unless called upon by the DReps. We've allocated specific roles accordingly:
DReps: Registered DReps are crucial for this process. Please register as a DRep and provide your DRep ID for verification.
Experts/SMEs: Subject Matter Experts are invited to provide specialized insights if asked by the DReps and are otherwise observers.
Vendors: Budget proposal providers are essential for clarifying their submissions if asked by the DReps
If DRep registration exceeds 100, we will select the top 40 registrants by stake as of Epoch 550 (Apr 4), 40: Top 40 registrants by # delegators as of Epoch 550 (Apr 4), 3 seats per continent.
All others will be placed on a waitlist and notified of their status.
Observers are welcome to follow the proceedings via a livestream.
