​Voice is becoming the default way software talks back. Voice agents, audiobooks, accessibility tools and in-app assistants all need speech that sounds natural, responds fast, and holds up in real conversations. AssemblyAI's new Text-to-Speech API gives you that voice, so you can spend the hackathon building the product around it.

​Start the week with a live build. Our Voice AI engineers will walk you through a working text-to-speech app from scratch, then stay on to answer questions. It's free to attend, and open whether or not you're competing.

​Who should participate?

​Open to everyone, but you should definitely join if you're:

• ​an AI/ML engineer or software engineer looking for something new to build

• ​building voice agents or AI-native applications that need to talk back

• ​working on audio content, accessibility, or creative tools

• ​interested in voice applications
