R&D Catheter Workshop
AIM Centre is delighted to partner with Damian Carr of Eyedea Medtech Education, who will be delivering a workshop which offers a practical, first-principles introduction to the world of minimally invasive medical devices and modern MedTech innovation.
Participants will explore where and why minimally invasive devices are used across cardiovascular, neurovascular, respiratory, and other clinical applications, how these devices are designed and built in practice, and what technical, anatomical, and manufacturing constraints shape their development.
Most importantly, the session will also look forward - examining emerging trends in MedTech, including miniaturisation, material science, data integration, and the future skills required to build next-generation medical devices.
Designed for founders, engineers, and innovators, the workshop bridges clinical need, engineering reality, and commercial opportunity, providing a clear picture of how impactful medical technologies are created.
Join us from 8am for a complimentary breakfast. After the workshop there will be a Q&A with Damian and a chance to take a look at some devices firsthand.
This workshop is exclusive to members of the National AI Studio for Manufacturing. If you are interested in becoming a member, please get in touch with our Membership Manager, Mary Harty, via [email protected] or by phoning 087 439 3147.
