Volunteers will work at a harvest wagon next to a date palm untying date bags and filling up and taping boxes.  As always all volunteers get to take home a sample of dates.

There are many varieties of dates on the ASU Date Farm, some ripen early in September and others ripen late in the season in November.  Early ripening dates include Barhee, Khir, Khalasah, Rhars, and the new ASU date variety.
