Seeing Science Happen: Transfyr Hands-on Lab Activity & AI-for-science unconference

​Join Transfyr and the Skene Lab at Imperial College London / UK DRI for a small, hands-on afternoon exploring how physical AI and scientific observability could change the way wet-lab biology is performed, recorded, reproduced, and scaled.

​Transfyr is building infrastructure to capture science as it happens at the bench, using multimodal observability across visual, audio, environmental, and experimental signals. Rather than treating papers and lab notes as the primary record of science, the aim is to create high-fidelity, machine-readable records of experimental execution itself.

​The afternoon will combine an interactive pipetting challenge using Transfyr’s AI platform and sensor stack, and small-table debates on the future of AI-enabled biology in the UK.
