​Meet the Facilitators

​Ian YH Tan

Background: University Lecturer, Generative AI Coach, and Communications Consultant.
Experience: With a 22-year career spanning media, consumer technology, and gaming industries, Ian has held leadership roles at globally recognized companies like Lenovo, Razer, and Microsoft, as well as being an award-winning journalist. He currently lectures on strategic communications at Nanyang Technological University.
Expertise: Combining technology, storytelling, art, and pedagogy, Ian helps people grow and learn using the power of words, visuals, and AI.

​Uli Hitzel

Background: Technologist, Author, Innovator, and Visionary in AI and Creativity.
Experience: Uli has worked on global projects across various industries, including media, telecom, e-commerce, healthcare, financial services, and education. Companies he's worked with include Dyson, Yahoo, Microsoft, IBM, Red Hat, and Raffles Medical. He is also a Fellow at the National University of Singapore.
Expertise: With a unique blend of technology and humanities, Uli bridges the gap between disciplines to drive creativity and innovation, facilitating workshops and conversations that inspire change.
