FemTUK: Get Yourself Connected
Co-working and practical business advice for women building music tech businesses
Event three in our series focused on female founders moves the founder journey from conversation into action.
Building a business means tackling several challenges at once: winning customers, delivering your product, getting noticed and managing the money. Knowing where to focus, and who to ask for help, can make all the difference.
This afternoon brings together women building music technology businesses for focused co-working, in-person networking and practical advice. Alongside time to work and meet other founders, attendees can book 15-minute appointments with specialists in Commercial & Sales, Operations, PR & Marketing, and Finance.
The objective is practical: attendees should leave with greater clarity on a current business challenge, useful contacts and a specific action to take in the next seven days.
Audience
Female founders, early-stage business leaders and startup teams building businesses in music technology.
The session is designed for people with a specific challenge to address, who would benefit from expert advice and have experience or support to share with others.
Places will be limited to 25 attendees.
Event Format
12.30pm–1pm: Arrival and networking
1pm–5pm: Co-working, with breaks for networking
2.30pm–3pm: Networking and pastries
5pm–6pm: Networking and drinks
Business Clinics
Alongside the co-working we will be running pre-booked 15-minute appointments with our business experts.
The clinics connect four areas of building a sustainable business: winning customers, delivering effectively, building awareness and managing finances.
Upon registration, you will be asked what you are building, what the challenge is that you want to work through, and which specialist you would most like to meet. Clinic appointments with one of our experts will be allocated in advance:
PR & Marketing (1pm–2pm)
Finance (1pm-2pm)
Commercial & Sales (3pm-4pm)
Operations (3pm–4pm)
We will aim to offer every attendee one session in their priority area, subject to confirmed specialist availability.
