Summer All4Free Event

​Supporting the summer All4Free event at the historic Tate Institute in Silvertown is vital because it directly combats the rising cost of living by providing free essentials to families across Newham.
Simultaneously, this event organised by the Newham Sharing initiative champions sustainability by keeping perfectly usable items out of landfills and fostering a stronger, more connected community.

Since more well over 4 years, the quarterly All4Free events provide direct family support. The event acts as a vital lifeline, offering free baby and kids' items, clothes, shoes, books, toys, and household goods to residents facing financial hardship.

By encouraging locals to donate and claim pre-loved goods, the initiative diverts tons of useful items from local landfills and significantly reduces waste.
Instead it brings neighbours together, transforming the Tate Institute into a vibrant, collaborative community hub where locals can connect and support one another. This local historic landmark continues to serve Silvertown for generations.

If you are interested in getting involved or need assistance, please contact us on Transition_Newham@riseup.net. We are gladly accepting donations on the day ate the venue. You can donate your pre-loved items from 11am at the venue.
