Just Dinner is Studio Bumi’s flagship communal dining experience.

Just Dinner is an intimate communal dining experience where the focus is on the food, the people, and the connections made at the table. Inspired by Indonesia’s hidang style of dining, where a variety of dishes are served at once for shared enjoyment. feach dinner is a thoughtfully curated multi-course meal designed to highlight bold flavors, unexpected pairings, and a sense of togetherness - it’s a dinner for friends, old and new ◡̈

P.S. It’s also BYOB!

Our seating arrangement encourages conversation, with tables of eight guests sharing dishes and stories. The dinner will also feature a guided conversation allowing you to speak and share about anything you want with the entire dining room! Whether you come alone or with friends, Just Dinner is designed to foster meaningful connections over a meal that feels both familiar and new.

We design consistent, guided and meaningful food experiences that turn strangers into friends, one table at a time. Rooted in the belief that sharing a meal is one of the most approachable ways to build connection, our mission is simple: make communal dining cool (and normal) again.

“Bumi,” meaning Earth in Indonesian, reflects our grounding in community and shared humanity.

Cancellations & Refunds

We’re a small team and each dinner is thoughtfully planned based on the number of guests.

For this reason, all sales are final and we do not offer cancellations or refunds. If something comes up, you're welcome to either transfer your ticket to a friend or move it to a future dinner date—we’re happy to help coordinate either option.
If Just Dinner is canceled or rescheduled by us, guests will receive a full refund or a transfer option.

Our menu is thoughtfully curated, and we do not accommodate substitutions. However, we provide a detailed allergen list for each dish to help you make informed choices.

Since we prepare everything in a shared kitchen, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact with allergens. If you have a severe allergy, please let us know, and we will do our best to work something out.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following:

Photography & Video Release. Photos and videos will be taken during the event for documentation and promotional purposes. By purchasing a ticket, you consent to being photographed and filmed, and allow Studio Bumi to use these materials across our website, social media, and other promotional channels.
Alcohol Consumption. If the event includes alcohol, please drink responsibly. You must be 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages.
Respecting the Space & Community. This is a shared space meant to foster connection. We ask all guests to show respect to fellow diners, staff and the space.
