The Test Tribe Mega Meetup - Mumbai
Mumbai, this is our 40th meetup together, and it’s a bigger gathering than our usual monthly ones.
If you’ve been to one of our meetups before, it’ll be good to see you again. If this is your first, you’re very welcome. Come for the talks, and take the chance to meet more people from Mumbai’s testing community.
See you on 28 November.

About the event
Session 1
Topic - Observability and it's role in AI applications
Observability is how teams see what’s happening inside their software by tracking logs, metrics and traces. In AI applications, it matters even more. AI systems built on large language models don’t always give the same answer twice, and they can fail quietly through wrong outputs, made-up facts, slow responses or rising costs, without throwing a single error. Good observability lets teams follow each request from the user prompt through retrieval, model calls and tool use to the final response. It shows where quality drops, where latency builds up and where tokens are being spent. For testers and engineers, it turns AI behaviour from a black box into something you can measure, debug and improve. That makes it a key part of shipping AI features people can trust in production.
Key Takeaways
Catching silent AI failures
Tracing requests from prompt to response
Speaker: Mithun Kotian, Chief Architect - Automation at Zensoft Services
Mithun Kotian is Chief Architect, Automation at Zensoft Services, Mumbai. He specialises in testing complex, connected systems, with deep experience in end-to-end automation, integration testing, and performance, security, resiliency and chaos testing. He has led test strategy for large platforms moving from legacy apps to Golang microservices, and builds automation frameworks in C#, Java, Ruby and NodeJS. He has spoken at The Test Tribe Mumbai Meetup and has volunteered with the Mumbai chapter for over three years.
Session 2
Topic: Beyond AI Assistants: Building Autonomous Quality Engineering for the Age of AI Agents
AI is moving past simple chat assistants. AI agents, MCP (Model Context Protocol), RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) and autonomous workflows are changing how software is built, tested and shipped. In this session, we’ll look at what this shift means for software quality and what engineering leaders need to do now to get ready for the next era of intelligent software delivery. Drawing on real enterprise experience, the talk covers where autonomous quality engineering adds real value, how to plan for it and what to watch out for. It also includes a live demo of autonomous AI workflows that raise software quality, boost engineering productivity and give teams more confidence in every release.
Key Takeaways
Where autonomous quality engineering adds real value
How leaders can plan for agents, MCP and RAG
Speaker: Siddhant Wadhwani, SDET Manager & Head - AI COE at Newfold Digital
Siddhant Wadhwani is Engineering Manager and Head of the AI Centre of Excellence at Newfold Digital, with over 11 years in Quality Engineering, Test Automation and Enterprise AI. He has delivered over 140 talks, workshops and webinars worldwide, and is a BrowserStack Champion and Mumbai Chapter Lead, LinkedIn Top Voice and Robot Framework Ambassador. His work helps teams move beyond AI-assisted development toward autonomous quality engineering.
Who should attend
Testers, QA engineers, SDETs, automation engineers, quality leaders, and anyone building or breaking software for a living.
A look back
We've done this before, just smaller. Here's what our monthly meetups usually look like - expect more of this, at a bigger scale.
