Bits in Bio SF and MBC BioLabs are proud to present A World Model for Biology: An Evening with Bioptimus CEO Jean-Philippe Vert.

Bioptimus is a Paris-based team building foundation models for biology. They are bringing their world model, M-Optimus, to San Francisco after showing it in London. Come get a demo, learn what they are building, and talk about foundation models, world models, and the future of simulated biology.

M-Optimus is the first system to combine histology, single-cell, and spatial transcriptomics in one model. It is built on the same foundation as H-Optimus-1, ranked first on PathBench and downloaded more than 1.8 million times.

The evening includes a live demo of M-Optimus, Q&A with the Bioptimus team, and food and drinks.

Open to anyone interested in how teams are working to simulate biology.

MBC BioLabs
