​Quirq’y Workshop: Building & Running AI Agents

​Build and launch a real AI agent with Quirq in this hands-on online workshop presented with Coffee&Code Philadelphia.

​Led by Suraj Sharma, Founder of Quirq, the session will walk you through launching a cloud-managed workspace, connecting your own work data, giving an agent a real task, and observing what happens inside its environment while it runs.

​You’ll learn how to:

• ​Launch an agent at app.xo.builders

• ​Connect a repository, document folder, spreadsheet, or other data

• ​Track agent activity, file changes, sessions, and costs

• ​Use supported quickstarts such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, Hermes, and N8N

• ​Run the open-source xo-space locally

• ​Explore GitHub contribution ideas for the Quirq hackathon track

• ​Prepare for the Quirq Build It challenge and Red Team bounty

​This workshop is designed for developers registered—or thinking about registering—for the Coffee&Code Philadelphia AI Agent Hackathon on September 20. No previous agent-building experience is required.

​What to bring

• ​A model API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, or another supported provider

• ​A repository, document folder, spreadsheet, or other data you are comfortable using

• ​An account at app.xo.builders

​Model credits are not provided, so please bring your own API key.

​By the end of the session, you’ll have an agent running against your own data, understand how to inspect its work, and have a clear starting point for your September 20 hackathon project.
