Tarot Poetry
What happens when you let a tarot card inspire a poem?
Tonight we find out.
Tarot Poetry Night is part writing circle, part divination, part creative liberation. We'll start with a short warm-up to clear the channel and wake up the creative body. Then I'll pull a card, share its energy and meaning, and we'll let it do what tarot does best. Open something up.
From there, you write. A poem, a fragment, a single line that wants to become something more. Whatever the card stirs in you is exactly what belongs on the page. There is no wrong interpretation. There is no wrong poem. There is only what moves through you when you give it permission to arrive.
We close with an open mic style share for anyone who wants to offer their words to the room. No pressure. Just the possibility of being heard.
Come if you:
Love tarot and have never thought to write from it. Love poetry and have never thought to read cards. Love writing and want a creative prompt that bypasses the brain entirely. Or simply want to spend an evening in a room where magic and metaphor are taken seriously.
All experience levels welcome. You don't need to know tarot. You don't need to call yourself a poet. You just need a willingness to see what arrives.
What to bring:
Something to write on. Your own tarot deck if you want to pull alongside me. An open page and an open mind.
