​AI-powered video understanding has always lived downstream of the live signal — broadcast latency budgets left no room for AI in the pipeline, and stacking capabilities meant chaining steps that compound delay and complexity. This talk explores what changes when content intelligence runs alongside live encoding instead: multiple features on a single stream, inside a live latency budget, across concurrent channels. Along the way, we'll examine the accuracy, latency, and cost tradeoffs this forces — and why pipeline architecture matters more than any single model.
