UOCEAN - RIVER SOAR CLEAN UP
We’re heading down to the River Soar on Remembrance Day November 9th to give the River banks a fresh spring-clean — but to make it meaningful, we are switching from Blue to Red for one day only in respect for ALL those from across the planet that sacrificed their lives for the freedom of this great country - so bring something red out to symbolise our unity and solidarity.
Grab your waterproofs and bring a smile and join us at the Abbey Park car park then heading down to the River Soar to help clear plastic pollution, chat, and enjoy a morning by the water. Expect good tunes, lots of high-fives, and the satisfaction of seeing the river sparkle again.
We’ll have some basic kit on hand (gloves, bags and vests), but waterproof boots and a refillable bottle are a smart call. Come ready to roll up your sleeves, meet new faces, and celebrate a cleaner stretch of river when we’re done. See you there!
