Post-Secondary Survival Guide: Beat Burnout & Negative Self-Talk
Practical tools to handle stress, quiet your inner critic, and make student life feel a little less overwhelming
Feeling drained, stressed, or stuck in your own head? You’re not alone. The pressure of school can leave you exhausted and second-guessing yourself, but it doesn’t have to stay that way. Between classes, deadlines, part-time jobs, and group projects, plus trying to squeeze in a social life, post-secondary can feel like a constant juggling act. Add imposter syndrome and negative self-talk into the mix, and suddenly every day feels like you’re just barely keeping up.
In this free virtual workshop, Shift Collab Therapist Elena Karamanova will share practical, student-focused strategies to help you manage your energy, tackle negative self-talk, and create routines that actually work for you.
You’ll leave this one hour workshop with tools you can use right away. No extra workload, just small changes that make a big difference. Plus, you’ll be alongside other students who are dealing with the same pressures, so you’ll know you’re not the only one figuring this out. There’s no pressure to turn your camera on or join the chat. But, if you want to, we’re here for it!
What You’ll Learn:
Reflection prompts: Quick ways to check in with yourself, celebrate your wins and actually feel your progress
Recovery routines: Easy reset habits you can do after a brutal week so you bounce back faster
Energy mapping: Learn your peak focus times so you stop wasting energy and start working smarter
Mindset shifts: Practical tools to tackle negative self-talk before it wrecks your confidence
It’s all happening on Tuesday, September 24 at 7 PM ET. And yes, it’s totally free! Whether you’re drowning in midterms, juggling too many deadlines, or just trying to avoid another burnout cycle, this is your chance to take a moment for yourself instead of getting stuck in it all.
✨ Bonus ✨ Everyone who attends will get an exclusive $50 therapy credit to use at Shift Collab. Whether it’s your first session or your 20th, it’s our way of saying thanks for showing up and making sure support continues after the workshop.
You don’t need more hours in the day. You need a better way to think about them, and yourself
Take this hour for yourself and leave with tools to feel more capable, confident, and ready to handle the semester ahead.
