In September, the Bookwyrms will discuss The Celestial Seas by T.A. Chan, in which Ishara Ming vows to avenge her lost crew by taking on the Ballena, an autonomous bio-mechanic spacecraft.
This novel is a YA, sapphic retelling of Moby Dick in space, so both Moby Dick by Herman Melville and Hell’s Heart by Alexis Hall (a NSFW sapphic retelling of Moby Dick in space) are optional readings for the month.
