About Event

What does it take to create change? The School for Moral Ambition and Effective Altruism Finland come together to exchange ideas, challenge each other's thinking, and find common ground. We'll introduce both communities, explore the similarities and differences in how we think about creating change, and spend the rest of the evening getting to know each other over food, coffee, and conversation. Come curious, leave with new contacts and concrete ideas worth putting into practice.

Programme

17.30 – Welcome and mingling Doors open for an informal start: grab a coffee or something to eat and get to know the people around you. We'll provide coffee, tea, and light bites.

17.45 – Presentations and discussion Philippe Arnez from the School for Moral Ambition and Sara Mansnerus from EA Finland briefly introduce their communities and make their case: what are the most powerful ideas each community has to offer, and how do their approaches to societal change compare? Followed by questions and open discussion.

18.30 – Mingling and conversation The rest of the evening is dedicated to good coffee, good company, and good conversation. We’ll wrap up at 19.30.
