About Event

A candid conversation on the multitude of funding paths and build strategies many entrepreneurs are never shown hosted in MXTW Founder & Investor House.

Most founders don't choose venture, they default to it as the standard alternative to bootstrapping. It's the path the ecosystem talks about, the one the content rewards, the one everyone around them assumes. So they pitch, iterate, chase the raise, and only after the term sheet do they come face to face with what they've signed up for: the pace, the dilution, the control, the exit criteria, the magnitude of outcome required to count as a success.

Fundraising is a multi-faceted, powerful instrument. Almost nobody is told which kind is best suited to which moment, or what else was on the table.

This session is built around one belief: the build strategy and funding path you choose at the start, strongly dictates the next ten years, and many founders choose it without considering the full range of options.

Venture studios, bootstrapping to real profitability, strategic partners, angel-led rounds that preserve control, strategic acquisition as a deliberate target rather than a consolation prize. These are the paths that rarely make it onto a stage.

What to expect

  • A 45 to 60 minute moderated panel with traditional VC GPs, venture studio partner, and founders who've weathered the storm on genuinely different routes. People with decades of experience and differing view points, which is the whole point.

  • Plain talk on cap table mechanics, control, timelines, exit strategies and horizons, and what LATAM's capital landscape actually supports right now

  • A curated cocktail reception designed so conversations finish and connections lock in, instead of everyone sprinting to the next event

Who this is for: institutional investors, VCs, studio partners, ecosystem builders, and founders building at Seed through Series A.

If you have an idea, you're raising, you're investing, or thinking about either... this is the conversation you want before the decision rather than after it.
