🏥 CTC x Lindsey Andres Beck (Mayo Clinic)
🏥 This week, we have the honor of welcoming Lindsey Andres-Beck to share insights from supporting translational research and neuro-related venture creation acceleration program within Mayo Clinic.
👩⚕️ Lindsey Andres-Beck is a Program Success Manager for Mayo Clinic Platform, where she helps health tech startup companies participating in the Platform_Accelerate program to navigate the Mayo ecosystem and make the most of their time. This 30-week program is designed to enable early stage health tech AI companies utilize de-identified patient data to build and validate their tools in order to get market ready.
🧠 In her last role, Lindsey worked for Mayo Clinic's Department of Business Develop as a Technology Development Associate supporting innovation in the Department of Neurology. In that role she utilized her background in basic and translational research to work with an interdisciplinary team to protect, advance, and commercialize Mayo Clinic intellectual property.
📚 She feels lucky to spend her days learning from people who have both such enthusiasm for their work and thoughtful consideration for how their work impacts their patients and their world.

We've been gathering since March 2023 to explore our shared concerns and curiosities about the impact of a new wave of emerging technologies on human well-being.
We believe in and want to advocate for a future where Technology and Capital support human and planetary flourishing. Not the other way around. Conscious tech means 1. raising individual and collective consciousness towards mindful love and compassion (e.g. mental health tech, tech for wisdom) and 2. Craft technology with mindful conscious intentions (e.g. calm tech, ambient computing)
We define rising consciousness as the (re)connection to ourselves, each other, and to our planet.
