Responsible AI in practice: A hands-on workshop

17 November · Hosted by the Responsible AI Movement (RAIM)

You care about building responsible AI. But turning abstract ethics principles into everyday product decisions can be hard.

Join us for an interactive pilot workshop introducing the Responsible AI Launch Kit — a practical framework to help your team identify AI risks and develop strategies to reduce them.

Together, we’ll choose a use case and work through it step by step: explore what could go wrong, consider who could be affected, and develop concrete mitigation strategies.

You’ll experience a workshop format you can take back and run with your own team.

📌 What you’ll learn

↳ Recognise AI ethics risks
Explore the kit’s risk zones: Data Privacy, Disinformation, Environmental Harm, Emotional Dependency, Loss of Human Control, Loss of Independent Thinking, Algorithmic Bias, and Bad Actors.

↳ Run a responsible AI workshop
Learn a structured, repeatable approach to help your team ask better questions and uncover risks in your product.

↳ Turn concerns into action
Practise translating ethical risks into practical changes to your product’s design, behaviour, and safeguards.

📌 Who should join?

Anyone building or shaping AI products — designers, developers, product managers, founders, and researchers — who wants a practical way to address AI ethics and safety with their team.

No prior AI ethics expertise is needed. Come ready to participate, share your perspective, and work through a use case together.

📌 Help us shape the kit

This is a first run of the workshop. You’ll get an early look at the Responsible AI Launch Kit, try the framework in practice, and help us improve it through your feedback.

Leave with a clearer way to spot AI risks, and a workshop approach you can use with your team.
