Build Night MTL: Vibe Coding Night in Montreal
What if the idea you’ve been talking about for months could be real by the end of tonight?
You don’t need to know how to code. You don’t need a startup. You don’t even need an idea.
Build Night MTL is four hours of turning an idea into a working app using AI.
You’ll watch Aisha Yaseen build an app live from scratch, then build your own with starter prompts, guidance and helpers around the room.
💻 WHAT YOU’LL BUILD
A real, working app you can use, test and keep building after the event.
Think of something that wastes your time every week and build a solution for it.
No coding experience? That’s the point.
Already technical? Come build, experiment and help others.
📱 COME PREPARED
Your idea shouldn’t stop at the door. Come ready to build.
Bring your laptop, a fully charged battery, a portable battery charger, and enough mobile hotspot data to stay connected during the build. These are encouraged to help you have the smoothest experience possible.
Depending on attendance, you’ll have the opportunity to build individually or in small groups, so you can work through your idea with others around you.
Don’t have everything on the list? That’s completely fine. Come anyway!
Meet us when you arrive and we’ll help you figure it out.
There may be limited access to venue WiFi, so come prepared if you can. But don’t let that stop you from showing up.
No excuses between your idea and what you can create. Bring what you have, bring the idea, and let’s build.
🎤 BUILDER SHOWCASE
At 10:00, five builders will have the opportunity to put their creation on the big screen and share what they’ve been building with the room.
It could be something you built during the event, something you started before, or a project you’ve been working on already.
You might walk in saying “I’m not technical” and walk out showing the room something you built yourself.

👋 HOSTED BY
Next Wave x Prompts2Products
AISHA YASEEN, founder of AREHSOFT and Prompts2Products.
Aisha's been writing production code for seven years. Self taught, started building software at 15, running a team of 15 by 19.
At AREHSOFT she builds custom software and AI automation for businesses. She also goes into companies and trains their teams to actually use the AI they're already paying for.
Prompts2Products is where she teaches people with no tech background to build.
She'll also tell you when AI is the wrong answer. That's the part most people leave out.
LUCA ARSENAULT, co-founder of Next Wave.
Luca builds the rooms Montreal's tech scene actually turns up to.
Next Wave started because he and two others kept asking the same question, where's the room where this city's builders meet each other. They couldn't find it. So they built it.
His real skill is getting people past the fear of walking into a room full of strangers. He's the reason someone who came alone leaves with five people they're still talking to next week.
