"Korea Stories" A Call for Justice - National Speaking Tour
Asian studies program at Sacramento State University and KLCCSac are delighted to invite all who are interested in Korean culture and history to our "Korea Stories" series. This is a collaborative public lecture series aimed at Sac State students and the KLCCSac community, and the general public with an interest in Korea. Our program will cover Korean history, culture, media, social issues, and more, providing a rich and comprehensive exploration through lectures, documentary screenings, and interactive discussions.
For our fifth Korea Stories event, we are honored to host Shim Jin-Tae and Han Jeong-soon, survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings.
As part of their 'National Speaking Tour' across five major U.S. cities—including Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C.—we are incredibly fortunate to have them visit us here in Sacramento.
This event is a vital part of the Korean Atomic Bomb Victims and the International People's Tribunal initiative, raising a collective 'Call for Justice.'
