HackAMatch
HackAMatch 1.0 Meet. Match. Build.
Don't bring a team. We'll find one for you.
Ever wanted to try a hackathon but didn't have a team? Or wished you knew more people who get excited about code the way you do? HackAMatch 1.0 is a hackathon built around one idea: the best teams aren't always made of friends, sometimes they're made of strangers who just haven't met yet.
Here's how it works. You register on your own and tell us about yourself: your skills, what you're curious about, your hobbies, and how you like to work. Our matching algorithm then reads every profile and puts together teams of four, pairing people whose skills complement each other and whose interests overlap. You won't know who's on your team until the event. Think of it as a blind date, but for coders.
On the day, you'll meet your matched teammates, break the ice, pick a problem, and spend hours building something together. Tracks range from AI and data science to web and app development, gaming, social impact, and campus innovation, so there's space for every kind of idea.
