An Evening to Unload: Hosted by AVA & Vivvi
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it's also the month we celebrate Mother's Day. And yet for so many moms, it's one of the most overwhelming months of the year. This evening is our attempt to hold both of those truths at once.
AVA and Vivvi are bringing together current and expecting mothers for an intimate gathering of conversation and connection led by Elizabeth Baron, psychotherapist and maternal mental health expert. We'll talk about the invisible load, mom burnout, and how to actually support your mental health when the demands of parenting keep compounding.
The evening will also include a reiki practice and reflection led by Deena Gothelf, time to connect with other moms who get it, and a curated gift bag to take home.
All ticket proceeds go directly to Friends of New York City Nurse-Family Partnership, supporting mothers' self-sufficiency, community connection, and professional development for nurses.
A Note on Tickets
We know how hard it is to carve out time after a full week. But this is your reminder to show up for yourself, even just for a couple of hours. If ticket cost is a barrier, please reach out.
