Communion 2.0 - A day rave
The Creed
Congregate to celebrate the light! Mass meets rave: long, intense, designed for transcendence.
A gathering of people who understand that humanity evolved by chanting, prancing around a bonfire and fighting off predators (at least in part). Now craving for the (post-)modern equivalent: dancing our hearts out while keeping our sleep rhythm intact.
Come as you are. Dress to sweat. No sermon. Just a DJ in the middle of the dance floor and everyone facing each other.
The Order of Service
Sunday, 23 August, 15:00–21:00 — location revealed upon receipt of your offering.
16:00 — Embodiment adventure (optional): a professional dancer leads a beginner-friendly movement lesson inspired by Gaga (the practice, not the Lady).
17:00–20:00 — A food truck provides sustenance (pay as you go).
21:00 — Benediction. Home, showered, asleep at a righteous hour.
The Rite
Genre-bending, high-energy sets: deep, bouncy kicks and tribal melodies that build into driving percussion, bordering on the psychedelic. Expect swerves — electronica into breakbeat into techno, laced with hyperpop, rap, classical, folk. Quick, quirky, and varied on purpose: when your mindbody can't predict, you have to let go.
Sound weavers revealed to the congregation soon.
Is this your church?
It is, if you'd rather sweat together than do small talk, and think children belong at the feast, not left home from it. If you want the intensity of a rave without sacrificing Monday. If you want to see people in their rawest form and end up laughing at the absurdity of life's beauty.
The Little Ones
Kids of all ages are welcome and under-16s are free with adult supervision. A kids area sits in full view of the dance floor, so nobody has to choose between their children and transcendence. Bring hearing protection so they can join the movement, too.
The Offering
The scale slides — entrance and drinks included. Pay more, and you are personally responsible for the next Communion happening. We will name a bassline after you.

The Congregation
Please don't post the location publicly, but do make the invitation travel to anyone who likes to lose themselves in the sublime.
