About Event

We are excited to announce the launch of a new research lab – Catalysts for Decolonisation – funded by Cambridge’s Centre for Research in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CRASSH). The lab is co-led between Ali Meghji and Simina Dragos, and is composed of a multidisciplinary team at Cambridge.

We are hoping for this event to be an opportunity to share our vision for the lab, but also to come together as a community of students, scholars and citizens interested in questions of empire, coloniality, race, decolonisation and anti-imperialism. Indeed, one of the core aims of our lab is to provide space and community for like-minded students and scholars across disciplinary divides, so please do come along irrespective of your area or era of expertise.

The launch event itself will entail a short presentation from the lab co-directors and time dedicated to networking and socialising over drinks and nibbles.

We hope to be able to meet many of you there!
