

Ethics, Leadership, and Career Planning in the Age of AI
This is a guest lecture embedded in Prof. Siyi Cheng's ENCP 6000/6100 Intro to Co-op/Career Management for Engineers at Northeastern University Vancouver.
The Spring 2026 class time is 3-4:40 pm on Tuesdays. As a final project, students group conduct case studies on AI Ethics and engage with discussions of impact assessment framework and meta-relationality in GenAI.
On March 24 between 3:30-4:30 pm, the class will welcome Mike Hoff (Senior Manager, IT Resilience at TransLink) for a guest lecture open to ALL Vancouver students interested in an industry perspective of Ethics, Leadership, and Career Planning in the Age of AI.

IT Leadership & Ethics in the Age of AI
Emergent ethical questions and how leaders are navigating them in real time.
Job Search & Career Development Lessons
Practical wisdom to job search and career development, including learning "soft skills" and "business acumen" alongside technical skills.
Followed by 15 min of Q&A.
