Most people experience Bitcoin through a wallet. Very few have ever interacted directly with the software that powers the network.
At Vadodara Bitcoin Meetup #7, you'll bring your laptop and step into the terminal to experience Bitcoin from the command line.
Over two hours, we'll explore Bitcoin Core together:
Connect to a Bitcoin node
Use bitcoin-cli to interact with the network
Create a wallet from the terminal
Generate Bitcoin addresses
Explore UTXOs and transactions
Understand what wallets are actually doing behind the scenes
This session is a perfect introduction to Bitshala's Learn Bitcoin from the Command Line (LBTCL) cohort and is ideal for developers, engineering students, Linux enthusiasts, and anyone curious about how Bitcoin really works.
