Join us for the screening of Preserving Our Voices: The City of South Fulton Through the Eyes of Five Social Justice Champions—a powerful new documentary that uplifts the stories, struggles, and triumphs of community leaders shaping South Fulton’s path toward justice and equity. Directed and Executive Produced by Michael Diallo McLendon, with Jabarr Harper serving as Director of Photography, Film Editor, and Music Supervisor, this film captures the heart of a city where art, advocacy, and action converge.

​This inspiring event—presented by Bakwudz Productions and Jabarr Harper, in partnership with South Fulton Arts, The City of South Fulton, and the Southside Environmental Justice Alliance—honors five extraordinary Social Justice Champions: Patrick Muhammad, Yvonne Cole Boone, Gertrude Naeema Gilyard, Dr. Yomi Noibi, and Kevin Cole. Each has transformed their corner of South Fulton through education, environmental advocacy, public service, scientific leadership, and art. Their stories remind us that lasting change begins when ordinary citizens dare to preserve their voices and stand for what’s right.
