ASGA Call 98: Planning for Healthy Solar Sheep Management - A New Resource from ASGA

​Having a good flock health management plan allows solar graziers to uphold animal health standards while reassuring solar owner and operators that their farmer partners are following industry best practices.

​While plenty of excellent sheep health resource exist, until now there has not been a set of standards for healthy sheep management on solar sites. ASGA is proud to present our new "Guide to Developing a Flock Health Management Plan in a Solar Grazing System" to fill that gap.

​The resource is meant to guide solar graziers as they develop flock health management plans with their contracted veterinarian. This will help ensure animal health remains at the core of their solar grazing operation.

​At the webinar, an expert panel of solar graziers, veterinarians, and extension specialists will go through the checklist and discuss key aspects of implementation. After the presentation, there will be an audience Q&A with the speakers.
