​Build an agent in 2 hours that reads, categorizes, and records financial data.

​About the workshop:

​Every month, someone in your company transcribes expenses into a spreadsheet, assigns categories, and answers questions like "How much was spent on marketing last quarter?" In this workshop, you will build an AI agent that does this for you: it reads a Google Sheet, answers questions about the data, and adds new expenses under the correct category.

​This workshop is designed for non-technical participants. You won't be writing code; instead, you’ll assemble a workflow using building blocks in n8n. You’ll leave with a working agent, not just notes.

​Who is this for?

​students, business owners and freelancers, analysts, anyone who wants to see how an AI agent works without getting into programming.

​Part 1: Introduction to n8n (30 min) Why use n8n in finance: what to automate and what not to n8n anatomy: triggers, nodes, connections AI Agent in n8n: model, tools, memory Security principles: what data to keep out of the model and how to limit agent permissions

​Part 2: Hands-on workshop (1.5 h) What to bring Laptop Google account We will provide the n8n instance and the spreadsheet template on-site.
