​About the Tour

​During this tour, participants will visit two of Hexcel's flagship facilities in Salt Lake City:

​The Center of Research & Technology Excellence Lab, a 100,000-square-foot innovation hub that opened in 2023 and serves as Hexcel's largest research and development center in North America. The facility brings together scientists, engineers, and technicians who work with customers to develop next-generation composite materials and manufacturing technologies for aerospace, defense, space, and industrial applications.

​Hexcel's Carbon Fiber Production Facility, the company's primary HexTow® carbon fiber manufacturing site and the largest carbon fiber production facility in the Hexcel network. Located on a 110-acre campus, the site produces a full portfolio of aerospace-grade carbon fiber materials that are used in commercial aircraft, defense platforms, space launch vehicles, and emerging advanced air mobility applications.
