About Event

Climate change is accelerating water risks across the world's food-producing landscapes. By 2050, 25% of the planet's land will see drought frequency increase by over 70%, and 36% will experience surface water stress which will have devastating implications for livestock supply chains and the corporates that depend on them. For investors, corporates, and the food system at large, the question is no longer whether climate-driven water risk will reshape livestock value chains, but how quickly the market can adapt.

This Climate Week NYC event, co-hosted by The Nature Conservancy and FAIRR, builds directly on FAIRR's forthcoming Water Risk report, extending that conversation from the investor community into a corporate and landscape-focused audience. Together, we'll spotlight how FAIRR's water risk monitoring tool, strengthened by TNC's global drought risk models from the Archetypes for Nature-Based Adaptation report, is helping quantify the magnitude of climate impacts on feed sourcing, livestock operations, and supply chain resilience. Speakers will translate investor signals into actionable pathways for companies, followed by facilitated working conversations designed to surface concrete next steps for engagement, investment, and partnership.
