Using Humor-based Storytelling to Influence Human Behavior Toward Wildlife

​Join us on Feb 5th at UTC 14:00 for a talk on "Pangolins Going Extinct? That's a Laugh: Using Humor-based Storytelling to Influence Human Behavior Toward Wildlife" by Melody Kemp - an author and story teller influencing wildlife conservation ethics in young and mature minds alike.

​Melody got her name from her jazz musician father, has lived and worked in many parts of the world. Qualifying in many facets of health she was the first woman appointed to a senior position as an occupational health and safety officer in Australia. She wrote books and training courses to assist international workers understand risk, before illness reduced her hearing. So she turned to writing; journalism and fiction. She saw a place for story telling in wildlife conservation. This is her first foray into multimedia.
