What better way to welcome the official arrival of summer than an intimate, fabulous house concert and gathering!!
This in person house concert hosted by the Slaters and produced by Harlow Sound Studios features two artists: Cliff Cardinal (main set) with Greg English (opening set).
Cliff Cardinal a Governor General's Award winning Toronto-based Indigenous artist, writer, and musician whose creative life spans the stage and the studio with equal intensity. Born on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and raised across Los Angeles, Vermont, and Toronto, Cardinal grew up surrounded by artists, actors and musicians — an inheritance that would shape every dimension of his work. He came of age as a punk rocker, playing in punk bands before evolving into the dark, catchy folk songwriter he is today.
Cliff will perform acoustically, including new release songs (that have not been released yet!) weaving his folk and indie music between semi-autobiographical stories with his signature blend of dark humour and compassionate poeticism.

Greg English is a musician, plus Sr. producer/owner of iconic Harlow Sound Studios operating since 1988.. Greg began as a drummer but later gravitated towards guitar and in particular, classical guitar where he trained under Leona Boyd.
English later studied music at The Royal Conservatory of Music Toronto and York University.
Greg English will be performing classical guitar pieces by Villa Lobos and Cuban composer/guitarist Leo Brouwer, and pop songs by Tom Waits and Rufus Wainwright, guitar arrangements by Greg English.
