Sports Rebels Club × Wave — Beach Volley Edition III
The side event that became a tradition.
Three years ago, we brought a volleyball net to Turin during Wave (ex Italian Tech Week). What started as an experiment is now one of the most anticipated off-stage moments of the week — founders, investors, and operators trading decks for sand.

The startup game and beach volleyball have more in common than you think: fast decisions, reading your team in real time, adapting when the set goes sideways. On the sand, titles don't matter. What matters is who you are when the pressure's on.
🏐 3v3 / 4v4 format — teams balanced by skill level so every match is competitive ⏱ 3 hours of play — multiple rounds, real matches, genuine exhaustion 🍕 Pizza & aperitivo after — the best conversations happen when you're tired and hungry

- 180 minutes game
- Teams will be divided 3v3 or 4v4 structure and compete against other teams.
- Free
- Arrive 15 minutes before to have time to meet & greet other players.
This is not a networking event with a sport as an excuse. It's a sports event where networking happens naturally.
Who shows up Founders, VCs, operators, and builders from across the Italian and European startup ecosystem — all here for Wave, all looking for something more than another panel.
Format
Arrive by 19:15 — we'll group teams and do quick intros
Matches run 19:30 → 22:30
Pizza & aperitivo to close the night 🍕🥂 (self-paid, totally worth it)
All levels welcome — never touched a volleyball? Perfect, neither had half the people at the first edition
