Prometheus Protocol π₯ in Brussels
βWhat if we had more say in the AI future taking shape around us?
βAI is changing the world around us.
βAt work, in public services, in our economies, in the infrastructure underneath our cities.
βThere are plenty of conversations about how to adapt. Fewer about what we might actually want. And fewer still about how we might figure that out together.
βPrometheus Protocol is a playful, participatory rehearsal for exploring that question.
βInstead of listening to experts, debating positions or trying to predict what comes next, we'll step into a possible situation, take on different perspectives, make choices, encounter dilemmas and see what the experience reveals.
βIt's not a workshop about AI, but a chance to experience a complex question from the inside, with other people.
βFor this Brussels rehearsal
βWe'll enter a possible near-future situation:
βImagine Brussels has resources and influence to shape the kind of AI economy that develops in the city.
βWhat would you invest in?
What would you refuse?
Who should own the infrastructure?
Who should benefit?
And who gets to decide?
βYou don't need to be an AI expert.
βThis is for people who are curious, concerned or already working around questions of democracy, community power, technology, new economies, philanthropy, public institutions, activism or place-based change.
βOr you might simply be curious about what's taking shape.
βBring a question, a concern, an interest in your city, or simply a willingness to step into the situation for a while.
βWe don't know exactly what the rehearsal will reveal. That's part of the experiment.
